Extensive research and benchmarking has contributed to the success of our renewable projects. Environmentally Sustainable Design principles are adhered to wherever possible.
For example, processes are in place to harness rain water as a secondary source of water for non-potable tasks and solar heating in the new Aquatic Centre.
The new solar system provide a fantastic example of a centralize solar system fully integrated to a heat pump and a BMS system.
The two GreenGlo1000D tanks have dual coil heat exchanger – the bottom one is feeded by the solar energy and the top one (if required) can auto-boost the temperature to meet the minimum heating requirements
It is expected that the system will save approx 12,000kWh per year.
